Milk and Milk Products Found Positive and Negative for Melamine

Following the recent reported finding and confirmation of the presence of melamine in infant formula and milk products produced in China, the Bureau of Food and Drugs has since then been monitoring and collecting aforecited products in the market for testing/analyses in the Laboratory Services Division.
In the interest of protecting public health and welfare, the Bureau of Food and Drugs hereby issues the partial list of milk and milk products tested for the presence of melamine.

The consumers are advised not to purchase or consume the above mentioned products found positive for melamine.
The Bureau of Food and Drugs shall continously determine whether or not samples of imported milk products collected from the local market contain melamine to ensure the safety supply of food imported from China.
